Music
Psalm 147:1 tells us “Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
The Music Ministry at Clements consists of ordinary people from all walks of life who are called by God to make His praise glorious. Whether you feel like you are talented or not, whether the preference is gospel, traditional sacred, or contemporary, we all have one thing in common…a love for Jesus and a desire to worship and praise Him to the best of our abilities. Our goal is to offer a well-rounded music ministry for pre-schoolers through adults. We want to provide musical training with a Biblical foundation so that our worship experience Exalts the Savior, Encourages the Saints and Evangelizes the Sinner.
Luke12:48says that God requires much from those to whom much is given. At Clements, we feel that as children of God, we’ve been given more than we deserve or could even imagine. Therefore we want to serve our Savior with all of our heart.
College & Young Singles
MPACT College and Young Singles are a passionate group of young adults ready to MPACT the world with the Gospel of Christ by laboring for our King.
36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Matthew 9:36-38
MPACT College and Young Singles exists to:

Preschool
More learning and development take place during the preschool years than in any other time of life. Because of this, the Preschool Ministry of Clements Baptist Church is dedicated to teach Biblical truths in all of our ministries. We understand that preschoolers learn through relationships and through play. Therefore we provide teachers who are screened and trained and who are enthusiastic about the curiosity of preschoolers. We strive to offer our parents a ministry they can trust by providing a security system and a clean environment. It is our goal to let preschoolers and their families know they are important at Clements.
The purpose of Clements Preschool Ministry is to reach, teach and minister to preschoolers by building a foundation of faith through spiritual training, relationships and attention to their physical and emotional needs. This ministry is extended to all preschoolers, birth through Kindergarten, whether a member or a guest, and their families.
…from infancy thou hast known the holy scriptures which were able to make thee wise, unto salvation…‖ 2 Timothy 3:15
Children
Kids are incredible! Their ability to love, to care and to believe is exactly what Jesus said He wants from all of us, no matter our age. For this reason, we take very seriously our responsibility to love, care and teach children at Clements Baptist Church. We also take very seriously the responsibility of parents to do the same. We’re not here to create a calen-dar full of programs that separate parents from children. Instead, we want to create conversations and provide tools for kids and adults that can be used in the home to worship, learn and serve together.
Missions
We develop strategic partnerships and mission trip efforts that will extend the Kingdom of God around the world. We work with the IMB and a mission network of like-minded churches to reach global urban centers with the Gospel.
Special Needs
Open Arms Special Needs Ministry
The Special Needs Ministry is a ministry reaching out to individuals with special needs and their families. It is our desire to love and lead all people regardless of the challenges they face, to a life of faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus when on Earth had a special place in his heart for those whom society tended to reject and we as a church have chosen to have a God’s heart to love and care for all people. Every person is important to God and this includes those with developmental and physical disabilities.
”The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at his heart. ” 1Samuel 16:7b
We offer Sunday School classes, Extended Care sessions during Worship Service and Respite Care.
Our Respite Nights are the 2nd Sunday of each month here on campus from 6-9 pm. Respite care provides dinner and a fun evening of games and fellowship for persons with special needs and their siblings. This also offers parents and caregivers a brief period of rest.
For more information about The Special Needs Ministry please call Traci McGill or Brian Murphy at 256-729-1328
Sunday School
“And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Tim 2:2
Sunday school has always been and will always be about evangelizing and equipping people to become faithfully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We here at Clements have found it to be so much more. Sunday School is a place to build real relationships with real people like you…a place where real people share real needs, and a place to find real answers from a real Savior.
Young at Heart
One of the joys of my ministry as Pastor here at Clements Baptist Church has been developing relationships with a growing group of adults ages 55 and wiser.
Our adventures have taken us many places…including more buffets than I can count during our monthly Monday fellowships! Most recently we had the privilege of attending Phil Waldrep’s CELEBRATOR’S CONFERENCE in Gatlinburg, TN.
The longer I am here, the more my love grows for this sweet group of people. I look forward to many exciting (and food-filled!) days ahead!

Branching Out:
The Third Thursday of each month, the Clements Women travel to the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville, Alabama, to minister to the homeless women and children. We have been given an open door to spend time with them, talk with them and touch their lives with the
love of Christ.
There are many opportunities for your involvement. If you are
interested in this ministry,
contact Mrs. Sherry Anderson or Wanda Broadhead
through the church office.
