CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Children are incredible! Their ability to love, care and believe is exactly what Jesus said He wants from all of us, no matter our age. For this reason, we take very seriously our responsibility to love, care and teach children at Clements Baptist Church. We want to create conversations and provide tools for kids and adults that can be used in the home to worship, learn and serve together.
OUR OBJECTIVE

to strive to lay a Biblical foundation so that children will come to know jesus christ as their savior and learn to serve him

about KIDS' WORSHIP

Kid’s Worship is a worship experience for kids that include games, Bible stories, activities and lots of fun! Kid’s won’t spend the full time stuck to a screen but instead will be encouraged to be active during worship and games. Kid’s Worship is where kids can have fun, make friends and find a place to belong.

I’m new! What do I do?

Once you have come through the main foyer/Worship Center our greeting team will walk you and your children over to the Preschool Connector. We have a wonderful group of men and women to escort you and your family to your child’s classroom.

Preschool Ministries

More learning and development take place during the preschool years than in any other time of life. Because of this, the Preschool Ministry of Clements Baptist Church is dedicated to teach Biblical truths in all of our ministries. We understand that preschoolers learn through relationships and play. Therefore, we provide teachers who are screened, trained and enthusiastic about the curiosity of preschoolers. We strive to offer our parents a ministry they can trust by providing a security system and a clean environment. It is our goal to let preschoolers and their families know they are important at Clements. This ministry is extended to all preschoolers, birth through Kindergarten, whether a member or a guest, and their families.

“…from infancy thou hast known the holy scriptures which were able to make thee wise, unto salvation…”

2 Timothy 3:15

Elementary Children

The Children’s Ministry (1st-6th grade) exists to partner with parents as we together lay the spiritual foundation where real transformation takes place in the lives of the children who attend our educational programs at Clements Baptist Church. Our purpose is for children to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire for each child to worship God, love others, serve God, and invite others as a regular part of their daily Christian life. We, as a Children’s Ministry, strive to make each child feel welcomed, loved, and accepted as they grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In each of our rooms, a highly gifted and energetic team prepares all week to offer your child the most dynamic Children’s ministry experience possible. While we commit to try to be the best hour of every children’s week, we pray the impact of this ministry will last throughout the other 167 hours of his or her week. Our desire is for our Children’s Education program to be the most exciting time of their week!

AWANA CLUBS

Our Awana club meets every Wednesday night from 6:30pm-8:00pm starting August 2021

PUGGLES

PUGGLES recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings.
In Puggles, children are welcomed each week with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities. Leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more. Lessons teach and reinforce four basic biblical precepts:

 1. God Made Everything

      2. God Saw That It Was Good

        3. God is Love

          4. Give Thanks

Special take-home cards that correspond to each week’s lesson help parents nurture their child’s faith at home. Participating in Puggles will give your child a head start on the path to loving and following God for life.

          CUBBIES

CUBBIES celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their Cubbies friends, they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games & activities build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes. Cubbies helps you lead your child to God early so your child will respect and trust Him for life.

          SPARKS

SPARKS ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner® and SkyStormer™. Each year, Sparks clubbers:

          • 1. Explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture
          • 2. Memorize Bible verses
          • 3. Complete handbook activities The handbooks, combined with Large Group Time lessons from the WHO Do I Need to Know From the Bible series, take your child on a journey through the entire Bible!

          T&T

T&T engages third through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace. Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.
